SODI light intensity detector detects the light intensity inside and outside the tunnel, can effectively control the influence of tunnel lighting system, adjust the gateway and the lighting in the hole, ensure the safety of driving, and could satisfy the requirement of lighting in the circumstances to achieve the purpose of energy saving operation. Equipment can be installed in pairs, which means there can be one at outside of the tunnel entrance for detection of tunnel brightness, the other one installed inside of the tunnel for the detection of tunnel illumination.
